We had the most wholesome glamping weekend together @wigwam_holidays_brecon 🏴 We wanted to do something special with the kids as Kallan was about to head off to High School 🥹 Nothing beats being in nature together, but we also didn’t want to travel far from home. Brecon is one of our favourite places in Wales, we have so many memories there from over the years, so after our amazing weekend trying out @wigwam_holidays Aberystwyth last year, we were really excited to try their Brecon site. We bbq’d, played football, stayed in the hot tub until dark, toasted marshmallows and hit some of our favourite spots in the area. We even got to visit some new ones! Can’t wait to go back and do it all again 🥰

We realised a few years ago that we were never going to live our dream of travelling the world, unless we made it possible. Firstly, we started making massive changes and sacrifice to enable us to travel more and then we started to change our travel habits. It’s so easy when you’ve been working hard and just want to relax and take a break, to visit the same places over and over, relax by the pool and not really explore, but then we started to see every holiday as a chance to visit a new place and do new things. It was then we really started to see the world and actually started ticking places and experiences off our bucket list…

She said you’re just never going to get absolutely the best food in the Maldives and I know what she meant, but I also know that she hasn’t been to @kurumba_maldives 🏝️
I don’t know who the food and beverage manager is here, or who is responsible for the whole set up, menus, ingredients, restaurant settings and decor, but whoever it is is an absolute genius. Recognised as one of the best culinary resorts in the Maldives, but you also just don’t expect it from this understated island resort. It is luxurious and paradise, but doesn’t scream extravagance or look like it’s trying too hard. No water villas, no over priced rates, just a ten minute speed boat from Malé, beautiful white sand beaches, crystal clear water teaming with wildlife and some of the best food you will ever eat in your life 🙌🏼

The rules of travel to Europe are changing. Starting in mid-2025, some 1.4 billion people from over 60 visa-exempt countries are required to have a travel authorisation to enter most European countries. It’s called an ETIAS.
If you’ve ever travelled to the US and had to do an ESTA, it’s basically the same as that, but this is much cheaper 😅 When applying using this official ETIAS website, you will be charged a fee of EUR 7. Applicants who are under 18 or over 70 years of age are exempt from this payment. Also exempt are family members of EU citizens and family members of non-EU nationals who have right to move freely throughout the European Union.
